RyanAir won't make any online friends with this wrong move:

As Airlines seek the lowest prices they are reasonably trying to find ways to avoid the fees they pay to booking agencies, but this needs to take a different form from the current odd policies of American Airlines and RyanAir, which are more likely to *lose* customers than gain revenue.

American Airlines Testing In Flight Broadband
Flight Delays? Bad meals? who cares as long as you have In-Flight Broadband, arguably the most important amenity an airline could ever offer.
American Airlines is testing the service now and unless they overprice it I think it'll be a big winner, though in flight *power* is going to be a problem for many if the Airlines don't take that into account as well.

AA to provide on board WIFI
A gigantic hat tip to American Airlines AA.com for the decision to provide WIFI to passengers in flight. Crunch Gear reports today that this plan is in the works and it appears WIFI on AA flights will be available soon.
