As Airlines seek the lowest prices they are reasonably trying to find ways to avoid the fees they pay to booking agencies, but this needs to take a different form from the current odd policies of American Airlines and RyanAir, which are more likely to *lose* customers than gain revenue.

Ryanair Rocking European Air Travel
IATA reports that discount airline Ryanair led all other European passenger carriers in 2006 with almost 41 million cross-border passengers. Lufthansa, Air France, and British Airways follow. Here are the numbers for 2006:
RyanAir Holdings 40,532,000 passengers.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG 38,236,000 passengers.
